About us

The Irymple Basketball Association (IBA) was established in 1980. It initially ran all competitions from the Irymple Community Leisure Centre. The Association has progressed primarily through the support and hard work of volunteers.

Competition expansion over the past 20+ years now sees the IBA using the Mildura Basketball Stadium, St Joseph's College Stadium and Community Leisure Centres throughout the Sunraysia area to facilitate the growing competitions.

Mildura is the place to be on the June long weekend as we hold our annual junior carnival, the TRI-STATE Junior Basketball Challenge. The carnival attracts teams from New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, which results in a cost effective and challenging weekend for both participants and spectators.
