The Junior Mixed Social Competition is a great way for friends to play together in a social environment. This competition is for secondary school students from Years 7 to 9, and has age based divisions. As teams contain both girls and boys, they can contain any of a student's classmates or similar aged friends.

Teams must have a minimum of two females on the court at all times, and there is a 12 point scoring limit on each player. This is a competition that gives young people the chance to play with friends in their age group irrespective of ability. Team singlets are supplied in order to keep costs to players down.

There is a Winter season running from April to September, and a Summer season running from October to March. Games are on Sundays at 'the St Josephs College Basketball Stadium situated in 11th Street Mildura.

Estimated costs per player Summer 08

Weekly player charges: $5 per game.
Season registration: $10 per season.
VCBC insurance: $25 per year, if applicable.
