Help Shape the Future of Your Industry

The Independent Brewers Association Board and Project Groups are made up of volunteers who share their time and experience for the benefit of the entire industry. We will continue to build on these groups to benefit all of our members.

Right now we are taking nominations for three board members, alongside expressions of interest for five project groups: Consumer Engagement, Trade Engagement, People, Sustainability and Hospitality Project Groups.

Board positions are made up from full member breweries, while Project Groups are comprised of Brewery and Associate Members.

This is a chance to be part of the next phase for our industry. As the IBA continues to create resources, events, and build on the hard work that has come from board and project members over the years we know there are still challenges and opportunities ahead. We want to make sure we have the right people in place to lead the industry.

Board Director Details:

Nominations close Thursday September 30

With our upcoming AGM, scheduled for November 9, we are seeking nominations for three Board Director positions. You can nominate someone you think deserves to play a bigger role in the industry (they have to agree of course!), or you can self-nominate.

All nominators/nominees need to be full brewery members, and need to complete the form below for the nomination to be official. If you’re interested but want to know more, please feel free to get in touch with one of our current Board Directors or you can give Kylie a shout.

IBA Project Groups:

Expressions of interest close Friday September 24 (note, date extended).

We would love to hear from you or a member of your team who is able to donate time to develop and implement resources, activities and programs that benefit IBA members. The links below will take you to contact details for the Project Group Leads, information on their remit and examples of their achievements to date or projects they are currently working on.

We are really keen to ensure there is a good geographical and diverse mix of members as well as breweries of varying sizes and scale. It’s provides good insight in to how the IBA works and is a great use of your time for the betterment of the indie beer community.

We are recruiting for four Groups. Check out the descriptions and if you have any questions contact the Group Leads, or Kylie Lethbridge
