Education & Training Opportunities 2022
The IBA understands that having skilled staff is a key to the future of our success. It is for this reason that we are about to embark on the mammoth task of trying to align course material and delivery nationally via our fantastic working relationship with education providers across the nation.
Aside from the work we are currently undertaking at a state level, the 10-year Industry Roadmap (due to be released) prioritises Workplace and Skills Development as one of the 5 key pillars, which includes upskilling, attracting, and retaining our workforce so there will be a significant increase in investment of time and effort in this area in future.
One of the regular questions we are asked is around how to find out more information on apprenticeships.
If you are considering embarking on this opportunity you will need to contact an Australian Apprenticeship Network Support provider. They are private companies who provide a free service, fully funded by the Federal Government.
We suggest you reach out to this agency before employing someone to see what support you may be eligible for. They will advise on eligibility of the business and staff member and what services and financial assistance is available.
