NOMINATIONS OPEN FOR STATE CHAPTER LEADS

The Independent Brewers Association works with its members to promote and support all aspects of the industry through advice, advocacy, training, and marketing.

The role of Chapter Lead has been formed to create a local leadership point between the IBA and members of the industry.

This position is open to any person currently working for an IBA Member across any membership category. We ask for a minimum commitment of 12 months to the role, with the option to continue in the role if both parties agree that the relationship has been satisfactory.

The position will be based in the appointee’s home state, with some travel expected for key events such as BrewCon and a limited budget will be allocated to cover travel expenses.

The position will ultimately report through to the Board via Kate Paterson, Head of Industry Development, however the General Manager, Head of Events, and Head of Marketing will also make contact from time to time

Positions available:

Currently, we have one Chapter Lead per State. This will be expanded to 2 for all states* in 2021, with one Chapter Lead position to be up for re-election each year, providing continuity and project handover where required. This decision was based on balancing commitments to the role with IBA around regular workload and provide a support system for any incoming Chapter Leads.

A table of current chapter leads is provided at the end of this document.

Communications regarding vacant positions are due to be sent on Tuesday June 29th with applications closing 5pm AEST July 12th.

Any current IBA Member can peer-nominate or self-nominate for a position to membership@iba.org.au.

Selection will be based on responses to key criteria and relevant experience within the industry. A shortlist of candidates will be presented to the IBA Board of Directors for approval at the July 2020 Board meeting.

APPLICATIONS NOW CLOSED - STATE CHAPTER LEADS ANNOUNCED SHORTLY.
