The New South Wales government is a proud supporter of the IBA and independent brewers. The development of the Independent Beer Action Plan 2020 and generous grants during the most challenging times of the pandemic are just some of the ways we have supported independent brewers and look forward to the way we can assist in the future.
Not only do we acknowledge the contribution the industry makes from a job creation and cultural perspective but we want to highlight that artisanal products are consistent with the NSW Government’s ambition to support businesses to move up the food and beverage manufacturing value chain.
The Independent Beer Action Plan prioritises the opportunity for the industry to expand domestically and internationally, including positioning itself as an Asia-Pacific centre of excellence for craft beer. The team will be at BrewCon 2023 to meet NSW stakeholders and to discuss new and relevant initiatives in relation to; manufacturing, licencing and regulation, education and training, research and innovation and investment.
